Petri’s Craft Room Tour (Miniature Room)

Petri is super excited to finally show off his new dollhouse miniature craft room, which has been under construction for the last few months. He is excited to get crafting and start sharing his crafts with you on the first Thursday of every month, starting in June.

One of our favorite pieces in this craft room is the miniature REAC Chair that took months to find. We actually did not purchase it with the intention of using it in the craft room, but I liked the way it looked against the purple wall… so in the craft room it will stay.

These jars are filled with all kinds of craft items, beads and even some miniature gingerbread men and pom-poms.

Petri’s miniature easel is placed against the window for inspiration. He is excited to get painting so he can put some paintings on the wall.

Both drawers in his desk are fully functional, allowing him to store various items such as miniature scissors, glue and tape.

The sewing machine was a gift from my grandmother about ten years ago. I don’t think she envisioned where it would end up. My grandmother was my crafty inspiration as I grew up, so there are little parts of her throughout the room. For example, many of the pieces of fabric folded on the shelves are pieces that she gave me.

Although it is not hanging anything yet, the cork board is fully functional and the light works. The desk is completely handmade.

The table, originally from the Bozart Kaleidoscope Dollhouse Dining set, refinished with a new piece of glass, will be used for Petri’s Craft Blogs.
